For the upcoming show in honor of Fifi Abdo, our make-up is going to be more old school glamour girl than usual. We're going for a really glossy lip and one of the products helping us achieve that is Rimmel Volume Boost Lipcolour in Bossy. I like the accessibility of Rimmel - I had no problem finding it at my local Walgreen's. It had no offensive scent or taste and the color is a really pretty neutral pink - just perfect for layering or for when you're having a day in which you don't want heavy-duty lip color. However, I was wary because I'm not a fan of lip plumping glosses, so I didn't know if I would like it.
My fears were unfounded. The Rimmel Volume Boost Lipcolour is really nice. The color goes on smooth and creamy with no problems and lasts nicely, without need for reapplication every few minutes. Still, I have to note that my lips didn't get any plumper, that I could l see. Maybe if you don't already have thin lips, plumper doen't do anything? I don't know. Like I said, you can find Rimmel at your local Walgreen's or probably any other drugstore type place. It retails for $6.99.
In even cheaper news, while at a Sally Beauty Supply recently, I picked up three of the tiny little lipglosses they had for $.99 apiece. They are great little sheer glosses and look wonderful layered over something with more pigment. I layered a couple of them over the abovementioned Rimmel lipcolour and got great compliments! Try 'em out!

I love Sally, must check out those lip-glosses! I have tried the Rimmel Volume glosses and liked them, but it leaked in my purse :(. I find Rimmel packaging to be quite poor.
