C-Shock: Initial reactions
Unlike some of my fellow beauty bloggers, who seem a bit taken aback at the audacity of the new MAC C-Shock collection, I was instantly in love! I am a bold, bright, brash girl myself, so having a collection full of loud, outlandish colors makes me quite happy.
The eyeshadows are every bright color in the rainbow and the lipsticks aren't much tamer - there's even a bright blue lipstick. I am over-the-moon excited about being able to sport bright, punchy eye color, with the soft, coral shade of Overrich lipstick. And last night, while playing around with the blue (gasp!) lipstick, I found that, granted, it does make me look like I froze to death when wearing it alone, but if you mix it with your favorite shade of red ... tada! Perfect berry lippie! Yay!
There are ways to wear every color and I must say that us brown gals are fortunate in that we tend to look great in shades on the brighter end of the spectrum. So go and check out the C-Shock collection. But do it before July 14th, 'cause these products are limited edition!

I have decided to be more adventurous with my choice of color...and I do think I stepped it up with my clothes...and I said I wanted to do the same with my makeup! Perhaps for my birthday I'll treat myself to something from this collection!! I'll let you know what I decide!!

I loved C-shock! Everything but the purple lipstick worked for me especially the eye colors. I just love bright punchy colors on women of color. The melanin just cries out for color.

I tend to wear more brighter colours in summer and this collection is just perfect, got the bright pink and blue lippies but they are sheer so you layer it with lipgellies, and Wondergrass eyeshadow which is a bright green colour. Im just tired of wearing browns and blues all the time so im happy this collection is different
