Bleached beauty?
I just finished reading Sam Fine's book, Fine Beauty, last night. I drooled over all the gorgeous pictures of women, famous and not, who he's made over. And, in each case, he bleached the woman's brows. They certainly look dramatic and elegant. I thought to myself, "Maybe I should bleach my brows." But I think I might be chickening out. I don't want to wind up looking ridiculous.
Do any of you bleach your brows? If so, do you feel/look more dramatic/elegant/sassy/etc.? And, just in case I can work up the nerve, what bleach do you use?

I just worked up the courage to do the opposite. I dyed mine to match my darker hair. Why is it that I could find the courage to change a much larger head of hair, but changing those little eyebrows was so scary?

I know! It's crazy! I have no problem dying my hair but my brows? Scary! Maybe it's because if I don't like my hair I can cut it off, but cutting off my brows would look crazy. Sam Fine did suggest that, if you dye your eyebrows too light, you can always fill them in with darker powder, which would work - but that would be a lot to have to do every day. I don't know.

I bleach my brows because with my honey highlighted hair, my brows seem too dark. I use Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Hair Bleach. If they get too light, I use Brow Zings by Benefit to fill them in and darken them a bit.

Thanks so much for the recommendation!

I use Jolen Cream Bleach - its available at the drugstore. You might want to do a patch test first for any sensitivity but I've never had a problem with it. You can wipe it off to check the color and if you want your brows lighter you can smear it back on and leave it on longer. HTH!
