Bronzers for Brown Girls: Laura Mercier Bronzing Duo in Pink Bronze

Laura_mercier_bronzing_duo Laura Mercier Bronzing Duo is one of those split-palette jobs, with a lovely bronzer on one side and a vibrant blush on the other.  It comes in two shades: Coral Bronze and Pink Bronze.  Pink Bronze is the one that is recommended for those with darker skintones, meaning us brown gals!

I love this product.  The two-sided palette is large enough that you can dip your brush into one side or the other if you're not trying to apply both colors at once.  However, I have found that you can apply both colors together to great effect.  I just kind of swirl my brush across both colors and then apply it to my cheeks - it gives that wonderful, sunburned effect that I'm going for (a tan always has a bit of red/pink underneath).  Both the bronzer and blush also contain a bit of shimmer to give you a fabulous glow.  I heart a glowy effect, but if you're into a matte bronzer, this isn't the duo for you.

You can buy the Laura Mercier Bronzing Duo in your local Sephora store or on www.sephora.com.

Adding this to my wishlist! Thanks for the review.

Can you recommend either a bronzer/shimmer lotion that can be applied all over your body? I want something that has some gold flecks in it, but I want it all over.

Stay tuned, Michele! I have an all-over body bronzer review coming soon.
