For the last couple of months, I have been enjoying the Pacifica shower gels - I have Tuscan Blood Orange and Hawaiian Ruby Guava. They are equally yummy. So, imagine my excitement when, walking through Wegman's with the troupe after a meeting, Lotus spotted a Pacifica display and on it ... the entire Pacifica line, including Solid Perfume!
This is me and my hubby, Vic, who is pretty much the cutest and the awesomest dude on the planet. (Girls - go out and get you one! But not mine, 'cause I'll cut you.)
Anyway, when I started this blog, Vic didn't give it much thought, but now that he sees how much fun I have with it, he's jealous and wants a piece of the action - LOL! He has decided that I need to have men's products reviewed on here every now and then, so I invited him to do it himself. So, from now on, you will occasionally be seeing posts called "Vic's Voice", wherein the Amazing Victor will let you know what he thinks about various products.
Now that summer is almost here (and the hot weather already is!), we're all much more likely to be shaving those legs, pits, etc., right? And, of course, there are a billion products on the market that say they will help you achieve the smoothest shave possible. Lately, I've been trying Pure Silk Shave Cream by Barbasol.
Pure Silk Shave Cream is available in six scents: Raspberry Mist, Citrus Zest, Melon Splash, Plumeria, Coconut & Oat Flour and Peaches & Cream.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and, unfortunately, I haven't noticed that Pure Silk Shave Cream makes my legs feel any smoother than any other shave gel/cream I've tried. It's a functional shave cream and the scents are nice. It's not expensive and easily found. So, there you go - it works, it's easy and it's pleasant, but nothing mindblowing.

My skin is clearer, looks fresher and I’ve been getting compliments on how young I look and how clear and bright my face it. Because it’s a thick, hydrating cream, it has replaced my night cream. This will indefinitely be a part of my skin care regimen!

Rose Petale provides a soft blush for day and I use Enchanteresse
For shows and for night. They both have a shimmer finish and go on
very silky. The colors are controllable and do not overwhelm when applied properly.

Lippman Collection Did I Shave My Legs For This is marketed as an "ayurvedic" shave cream. It supposedly offers "decadently smooth legs." I decided to give this a try, as I am hairy enough to star in Wolverine. (Thanks for the hirsute genes, Mom and Dad!) According to the PR, this cream was specially formulated for use on any body part and with any skin type and has "soothing, toning and moisturizing properties." The Ayurvedic Complex is supposed to work as a skin smoothing barrier that lubricates with clogging the razor.
