If I had to use just one bronzer for the rest of my life (Heaven forbid!), it would probably be MAC Bronzer in Refined Deeper Bronze. I love that it is dark enough to actually show up on my skin and that it has a wonderful shimmer, as opposed to chunks of glitter. I feel my darn sexiest when I put a pop of bright blush on my cheeks (something like CARGO's Laguna, MAC's Dollymix or NARS' Exhibit A) and follow it with a sheer layer of Refined Deeper Bronze. You can't tell me nothing!
For those of us who are looking for an even deeper bronzed effect - like a gilded statue, nothing can beat MAC Iridescent Loose Powder in Golden Bronze. It is the business if you're going to be onstage and you want those lights to bounce of your bronzed bodaciousness or if you're just going out for a night on the town and you don't want anyone to be able to hold a candle to your sunkissed fierceness. It is yummilicious! The only thing that would make it better would be if you could eat it - you know, that way, your man won't be pissed if he happens to get a mouthful - he won't be able to resist giving you a nip on your bronzed neck or decolletage or ... you know ...
great items. my mac bronzer in golden is my run to bronzer. i love my tarte park avenue as well... do you find it or any other tarte bronzer helpful for darker skinned beauties?

Hey Kia!
I dearly love tarte bronzer in both park avenue princess and hotel heiress - matter of fact, these are going to be in my BfBG series soon!

Finally, SOMEONE talked about Refined Deeper Bronze. I've been wanting something to contour with, and girls on Specktra haven't really been helping me [they use all bronzers EXCEPT fuckin MAC, how ironic], so THANK YOU for this. Now I can justify buying it. ;D

No problem, girl! I'm all about helping to justify makeup purchases - LOL!

Hey,
I have been using MAC's Format Frost powder blush as my bronzer. It is great. But I will also try the Refined Deeper Bronzer. I am very picky with bronzers and foundations because, like so many of us Brown skinned girls, my forehead is a different shade than the rest of my face. So I would have to buy two different foundations. Ugghh!!! The powder blush balances it all out.

Thanks, Victoria - I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Simone, that's a great idea! If you tried the Refined Deeper Bronze, let me know what you think!

I think I'm missing the point of bronzer! I use it and I like the glitter, but...I don't know.
I'm starting a feature on my blog, HomeSpaGoddess.com about all the products beauty blogger can't live without. Your blog is great and I'd love for you to participate:)
Just answer this question:
You're stranded on a desert island where all of your basic needs (food, water, shelter) are taken care of. You are allowed an unlimited supply of only 7 beauty products. What seven products would you choose?
They can be products for hair, face or body. If you want to participate just email me your answers at hsg{at}homespagoddess.com and put "Island Beauty" in the subject line. I'm going to run my "Island Beauty" feature once a week and I'll email you when you're featured.
Thanks!
